Las Soleras Rail Runner Station Proposal
The Santa Fe MPO approved the Las Soleras Rail Runner Station location at its December 11th, 2008 Transportation Policy Board Meeting.
This is the last of five station locations approved by the Santa Fe MPO for the Rail Runner line in Santa Fe. The other four stations are: NM599, Zia, South Capitol and the Santa Fe Depot.
The Las Soleras station is proposed to be placed in the median of Interstate 25 between Cerrillos Road and Richards Avenue. In accordance with federal regulations (Title 23 CFR 810, Subpart C), the use of right-of-way on a Federal-Aid Highway (the interstate) for a publicly-owned mass transit system must be authorized by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
PUBLIC INPUT MEETING
