Metropolitan Transportation Plan

The 2020-2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan provides the roadmap for regionally significant transportation improvements. Projects are selected, evaluated, and prioritized by the Santa Fe MPO and member agencies.

Bicycle Master Plan

The Bicycle Master Plan supplements the Metropolitan Transportation Plan with a greater level of detail and range of projects of all sizes to improve the bicycle network.

Transportation Improvement Program

The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) tracks regionally significant transportation projects with programmed funds and federal transportation grant recipients.

Future Roads Map

The Future Roads Map is a required component of the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). It includes roads on the current MTP project list, roads expected to be built by developers, and road alignments that could be built outside of the 25-year MTP planning horizon.

After mapping, projects can be prioritized for funding and implementation. The highest priority projects will be accessible for review with member governments so they can be included into the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). . Based on concentrations of high priority projects, high priority pedestrian improvement zones can be designated to complete improvements by geographic area.
