Ashbaugh Park includes a .64-mile loop trail that covers the entire 12.25 Acre space. The park is segmented into an east and west section about equal size each section enjoys a large, irrigated field of grass in the southside of the park is flanked by a drainage ditch that is lined with a mature canopy of trees. The trees provide a wind barrier to the park that during Spring season provides and enjoyable break from the hostile winds. The park is peppered with mature trees allowing for shaded areas for play and picnicking park includes a disk golf course that pairs with the loop trail well without interfering with the open fields. Access via the Acequia Trail allows for multiple neighborhoods in the vicinity to enjoy safe access away from major roads.
